Biography

Rosaleen Dolores Robertson, 88, of Berryville, Virginia, formerly of Hampden, Maine, died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at her residence.
Mrs. Robertson was born March 26, 1922 in Hermon, Maine, the daughter of Franklin Vernon and Ellen Rostron Hall.
She was a retired registered nurse where she had worked at St. Joseph Hospital in Bangor, Maine.
She was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church in Brewer, Maine and the Eastern Star Chapter 17 in Hampden, Maine where she held the position of worthy Matron for two years.
She married Bernard Arthur Robertson on November 23, 1944 in Bangor, Maine.
Surviving with her husband is a daughter, Janet R. Davidson and her husband, Richard of Berryville, VA; two sons, Cary A. Robertson and his wife, Bonnie of Watsonville, CA and Joel W. Robertson and his wife, Kathleen of Clifton, NJ; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held 2:00 – 4:00 P. M. Saturday, July 31, 2010 at her home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Clarke County Humane Foundation, P.O. Box 713 Berryville, VA 22611 or to the Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Winchester, VA 22601.
Arrangements are being handled by the Enders & Shirley Funeral Home, Berryville, VA.
