Charles Frederick Stevens, Sr.

Charles Frederick Stevens, Sr., 94, of Cross Junction, Virginia, died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Stevens was born April 14, 1916 in Cardinal, Kentucky, the son of James G. and Malinda Saylor Stevens.
He was retired from the U. S. Air Force where he had worked as a flight engineer.
He had served in the U. S. Air Force during WWII, Korean Conflict and Vietnam where he retired from the Tennessee Air National Guard as Sr. Master Sgt.
He was a member of the VFW.
He was married to Beulah Stevens. Mrs. Stevens died in 1972.
Surviving are two sons, James Stevens of Shreveport, LA and Charles Stevens and his wife, Helen of Cross Junction, VA; two sisters, Carolyn Woods and Marsha Stevens both of Shreveport, LA.
He is preceded in death by his two brothers and one sister.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P. M. Friday, July 23, 2010 at the Forest Hill Cemetery, Memphis, TN.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P. M. Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at the Enders & Shirley Funeral Home, Berryville, VA.
